To Create Engineering Work Packages for the Sample Project Data

To Create an EWP for the Sample Project Pipe CAD Data (EWP_PIPE_001)

  1. Open the ConstructSim Work Package Server and log in to the project you created.
  2. Go to the Engineering panel and select Create engineering work package.
  3. Create a PIPE-discipline Engineering work package.
  4. Add the CAD Models:
    1. From the Bulk upload tab (Project info panel > Project data), upload the …\ProjectData\CAD\PDS\PDSTransmittal_<ProjectName>.zip file and set the Mapping property to CAD.xml.
    2. Check the box next to the document and select Start Import.

To Create an EWP for the Sample Project Pipe CAD Data (EWP_ISOMETRIC_001)

  1. Open the ConstructSim Work Package Server and log in to the project you created.
  2. Go to the Engineering panel and select Create engineering work package.
  3. Create a PIPE-discipline Engineering work package.
  4. Add the ISO Transmittal ZIP file:
    1. From the Bulk upload tab (Project info panel > Project data), upload the …\ProjectData\ISOS\ ISO_Transmittal_01.zip file and set the Mapping property to ISO_IDF.xml.
    2. Check the ZIP file and select Start Import.

To Create an EWP for the Sample Project Steel Data (EWP_STEEL_001)

  1. Open the ConstructSim Work Package Server and log in to the project you created.
  2. Go to the Engineering panel and select Create engineering Work package.
  3. Create a Steel-discipline Engineering work package.
  4. Add the CIS/2 Transmittal ZIP file:
    1. From the Bulk upload tab (Project info panel > Project data), upload the …\ProjectData\CAD\CIS2\SteelTransmittal_<ProjectName>.zip file and set the Mapping property to CIS2.xml.
    2. Check the ZIP file and select Start Import.
